Kertajati International Airport is considered to be very strategic to boost the economy of the mobility of incoming and outgoing people from various regions in Indonesia, as well as abroad.

Kertajati International Airport is also considered to be a liaison transportation of logistics from two ports, namely Muara Jati Port, Cirebon and Port Patimban, Subang.
