First Airplane Landing at Kertajati Airport Runs Smoothly

MAJALENGKA, (HUMAS) – For the first time there was a landing plane at West Java International Airport (BIJB), Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency. The first landing is a series of calibration tests on the instrument instances of navigation. This is done to find the formulation of aircraft guides during the next flight at Kertajati Airport.

The calibration aircraft is a Beechcraft King Air B350-i belonging to the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). This six-seater aircraft took off from Husein Sastranegara Airport Bandung at 08.55 WIB and landed smoothly at 09.15 WIB at Kertajati Airport Airport Runway, Majalengka. The flight of Bandung Majalengka is reached by 20 minutes, and the sunny weather colored the flight.

After take-off from Bandung, this propeller aircraft directly gradually took up to 12 thousand altitude above sea level. During 12 minutes diketinggian Tanah Parahyangan, the plane slowly lowered to then align with the runway of Kertajati Airport. Airfield lighting system lights up welcome for the first time aircraft landed.

The plane is held by Pilot command Captain Sri Mulyanto. It includes First Officer Khairuna Fauzi, Flight Inspector I (PO) Dian Yusuf Aminudin, Fligt Officer II (TO) Wahyu Wicaksono, Dennis Sagia Flight Mechanic, Fit Mechanic Ary Firmansyah and President Director of PT BIJB Virda Dimas Ekaputra.

With a runway length of 2,500 and a width of 60 meters, the standard aircraft landing gear instrument, the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) is feasible.

“The airborne airborne instrument is already 100 percent, and the readiness of the lights on the runway is ready because the lights are needed as a landing aid at night or dark, cloudy and rainy weather,” he explained.

Virda Dimas Ekaputra feels very grateful that the navigation test runs smoothly. With the landing means that the Kertajati Airport is increasingly showing its readiness to actually be able to operate in mid 2018. “Alhamdulilah, I’m really happy Happy, finally the plane can make a smooth landing without any obstacles,” added Virda.
