Bandara Internasional Jawa Barat is located at Kertajati, about 68 km from Bandung, capital city of West Java Province of Indonesia. Strategically placed around West Java Development Area, BIJB’s accessibility is guaranted by having both highway and railway that connects Bandung, Kertajati, and Cirebon; Cisumdawu Toll road to link Bandung and Kertajati; Cipali Toll road that connects Kertajati and Karawang Industrial Zone; and also having direct connection with Cirebon Seaport. BIJB is built within 1800 ha area and will be divided into three phases of development. Expect- ed to launch in 2017, BIJB on its first phase of development will operate single runway of 3500 metre, and ultimately, BIJB will have two runway after its complete construction.

Total area of Passenger Terminal building is 121.000 sqm that can handle 5 million passenger/year and will reach 18 million of passenger traffic for the next years. On the cargo front, from a
humble 0,004 million tonnes handled in its first operation, cargo throughput at BIJB is going to be expanded massively by reaching 1.5 million tonnes in 2045.
In order to make BIJB’s aeronautical fees competitive, BIJB will also gain economic profit from its non-aeronautical businesses. Besides attracting brand names and reputable retail and F&B operators to offer a wide mix of offerings, BIJB is going to organises exciting airport-wide promotions to attract passengers.
