Kertajati Airport Attracts Millennials through Digital Innovation, Majalengka – West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati is trying to attract public attention so that it can continue to grow. Among the ways is to hold various interesting events and present interesting digital innovations in the BIJB application that is being developed.

The Director of Operations and Development of PT BIJB, Agus Sugeng Widodo, leaked some interesting features in the BJIB application. Some of them are tracking luggage until ordering a parking space.

“Our ICT (Information and Communication Technology), our computer system, is connected to various kinds of applications. We are connected to that ticket with, so we can order,” Agus said to on the sidelines of a mass media workshop held by the Ministry Transportation (Kemhub) at Kertajati Airport, Majalengka, as written on Sunday (11/04/2018).

The BJIB application will also be connected directly to the airline system. Through this, passengers at Kertajati Airport can check in at the BIJB application. In addition, the application will also be connected with radar24 and Google Maps.

“We are connected to flightradar24, so that the plane we are going to ride can know where it is. We are also connected to Google Maps, so when we know which route to go. We are also connected to a parking system, so we can order in the application,” he said.

Agus promised that all these things could be achieved through just one application. Currently, BJIB calls it still in the development of the application.

“We will still process this, but later it will be like that,” concluded Agus.
