Jakarta (DETIK.COM), – West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati in Majalengka, West Java operates commercially since May 2018. To support infrastructure access to the airport, the government is preparing toll Cileunyi Sumedang Dawuan (Cisumdawu).
Minister of Public Works and People’s Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said the construction of Cisumdawu Toll will reach Kertajati Airport. Thus, public access to the airport can be increased.
“Cisumdawu will also have the impact to Kertajati, so we can use Cisumdawu,” Basuki said at the Ministry of Public Works, Jakarta, Thursday (21/6/2018).
Basuki estimates that the Cisumdawu Toll Road development process can be completed by the end of 2019. That way, people can quickly take advantage of the path.
“Approximately 2019 end may, if not 2020. But the soonest it’s late 2019,” said Basuki.
To note, the Cisumdawu Toll has a length of 61.6 km. Toll is equipped with a tunnel along the 472 meters with a diameter of 14 meters.
Toll Cisamdawu has 6 sections. Section 1 Cileunyi-Rancakalong, Section 2 Rancakalong-Sumedang, Section 3 Sumedang-Cimalaka, Section 4 Cimalaka-Legok, Section 5 Legok-Ujung Jaya, and Section 6 Ujung Jaya-Dawuan.
The government portion in this toll road builder includes Section 1 and 2. Meanwhile, Toll Road Enterprises (BUJT) Section 3, 4, 5, and 6.
