Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – The Cileunyi Sumedang Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road being built will be integrated into the West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka.
West Java Provincial Secretary Iwa Karniwa said the West Java Provincial Government had allocated a budget of Rp60 billion for land acquisition to realize the planned integration of the Cisumdawu Toll to Kertajati Airport.
“The access road of Cisumdawu Toll Road to Kertajati Airport. It takes around Rp60 billion, thank God, the allocation for land acquisition can already be proposed,” Iwa said after opening a Discussion Meeting on Bandung’s Inner City Toll Road Development Plan as quoted by Antara on Thursday (8/23).
Iwa said the construction of the Cisumdawu Toll Road is targeted to be completed in December 2018, not only access in the northern part of Java, but also road access to Kertajati Airport.
Meanwhile, Acting Governor of West Java H Mochamad Iriawan hoped the construction of the Cisumdawu Toll Road project would not exceed the predetermined time target.
“There are several sections for Cisumdawu, obviously the 2020 target must be finished, so the stages continue to be carried out by both the government and the private sector, so we expect it to be in line with the target,” he added.
The Cisumdawu toll road will be built along 61.6 kilometers and has a tunnel of 472 meters in diameter and 14 meters in diameter.
The construction of this toll road consists of six sections, including Section I Cileunyi-Rancakalong, Section II Rancakalong-Sumedang, Section III Sumedang-Cimalaka, Section IV Cimalaka-Legok, Section V Legok-Ujung Jaya, and Section VI Ujung Jaya-Dawuan.
Construction of Cisumdawu, carried out by the government in collaboration with the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT). In detail, Section I and II are carried out by the government, while Section III-VI is taken by BUJT.
