(TRIBUNJABAR.ID), MAJALENGKA – A total of 14 new flight routes are ready to be opened at the West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka.
From the category of domestic, regional, to international flights.
“Our target until the end of 2018 BIJB Kertajati serves 14 routes,” said BIJB President Director Kertajati, Virda Dimas Ekaputra, via a short message, Friday (08/24/2018).
He said, domestic flight routes include destinations in Bali, Medan, Ujungpandang, Balikpapan, and others.
While regional flights targeted are Singapore and Malaysia.
The international flight route that is expected to be carried out immediately is the destination of Madinah for the departure of Umrah.
“The entire route is our proposal, because based on the high traffic survey, it suits the needs of the community,” said Virda Dimas Ekaputra.
He said, two flight routes including plans began this month.
Lion Air airline that will serve the flight route.
“Domestic flight routes are Bali and Kualanamu destinations,” said Virda Dimas Ekaputra.
Furthermore, flight routes to China and Japan are also planned to open in September 2018.
However, Virda is still reluctant to mention the airline that will serve two flights abroad.
“Umrah flights are planned to start in October 2018 using a Boeing 737 Max 8 type aircraft from Lion Air,” said Virda Dimas Ekaputra.
