JURNAL GAYA ----- The Minister of Public Works and Public Housing or PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono hopes that the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) toll road can be operated in 2021.

According to Basuki, two toll road construction contracts, namely the CisumdawuSeksi 6B toll road and the East Ancol-Pluit (Elevated) toll road are very crucial and are awaiting their presence.

"Especially for the Cisumdawu toll road, its completion is President Joko Widodo's priority. I hope that with the signing of this contract, the Cisumdawu Toll Road can be operated in 2021 as support for Kertajati Airport to be fully operational, by reducing the travel time for Bandung to Kertajati Airport to less than 1 hour," he said. Basuki was quoted as saying by the Gaya Journal from Antara, Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

In early 2021, he said, the construction of two new toll roads would begin immediately, namely the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Section 6B Toll Road and the East Ancol-Pluit (Elevated) Toll Road. The construction of the two toll roads was marked by the signing of a construction work contract.

Basuki instructed the implementing contractor to immediately start field work from the issuance of a Work Commencement Order (SPMK).

"For the contractor PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) in collaboration with PT Citra Karya Jabar Tol (CKJT) as the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) which manages the Cisumdawu toll road, they must immediately work and in the next two weeks I will monitor the progress in the field. , "He said.

Head of BPJT Danang Parikesit said that with the signing of a contract on each of these toll road sections, it is hoped that the synergy between the private sector and BUMN can contribute positively and toll road infrastructure development can run well according to the set schedule.

The contract signing for the Cisumdawu Section 6B toll road was carried out by the President Director of PT CKJT Jusuf Hamka together with the General Manager of Division 3 of PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) Dody Perbawanto. PT CKJT is a subsidiary of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) Group.

The construction of the 61 Km Cisumdawu Toll Road in West Java Province consisting of six sections will be connected to the Kertajati Airport access toll road and is expected to increase connectivity to the Kertajati West Java International Airport (BIJB) which has started operating.

The Cisumdawu Toll Road was built under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. Of the six sections, Sections 1 & 2 are carried out by the government as part of the viability gap fund (VGF) to increase the feasibility of investing in the toll road and Sections 3-6 are carried out by PT. Citra Karya Jabar Tol (CKTJ) as an investor. The total investment value for the Cisumdawu toll road project is IDR 8.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, the signing of the contract for the construction of the Ancol Timur-Pluit (Elevated) or Harbor Road II (HBR II) toll road was carried out by the President Director of PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) Fitria Yusuf together with the Director of Operations I of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Hananto Aji. The total investment value for the Ancol Timur-Pluit Toll Road is IDR 15.8 trillion.

The construction of the East Ancol-Pluit (Elevated) or Harbor Road II (HBR II) toll road along 9.6 km is an extension of the Cawang-Tanjung Priok-Ancol Timur-Ancol Timur-Jembatan Tiga / Pluit toll road which is currently operating. This toll road is an access connection from the inner city toll road to the Tanjung Priok area, which is now connected to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll road.
