Indonesia is known for its cultural richness and diversity of tribes. Each region that is spread throughout the archipelago has its own uniqueness and still holds fast to the local wisdom of the teachings of its ancestors. One of them is a traditional village in West Java that still adheres to customs, namely Kampung Naga.
The village, located in Tasikmalaya with an area of 1.5 hectares, is still preserved. In Kampung Naga there are still many towering trees, wide rice fields, and the Ciwulang river, which is still clear and not polluted. In the midst of increasingly rapid technological advancements, residents of Kampung Naga still carry out their daily activities in the traditional way.
Residents of Kampung Naga reject their village as a tourist village. The community is worried that their village will be disturbed if it becomes a tourist attraction. But do not worry for those of you who want to visit or stay overnight in Kampung Naga, you must first ask permission from certain residents or officers and comply with existing regulations on the custom of Kampung Naga. Some of the rules in Naga Village are prohibited from sounding music, entering sacred places and forbidden to take pictures.
Kampung Naga is located in Neglasari village, Saluwu District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java Province. From the city of Tasikmalaya the distance is about 30 km, to get to the location can use two or four-wheeled vehicles.
